Vanessa Blättler Alcaide pursued her studies at the preparatory course in the Lucerne University of Design & Art, where she experimented with various media. Her interest in creative design processes unites her work behind the camera, both visually and technically. She was drawn to film-making by her fascination with the diversity of design and associated creativity. During her bachelor studies at Zurich University of the Arts (2018), she directed her graduation film "SIN RAZÓN“.

Her experience as a cinematographer includes documentaries, short films, music films, experimental and essayistic videos.

Since graduating in 2023, she has been focusing on camera work and on the realization different film projects.
