The extroverted Louisa moves in with the introverted Mynn. When Louisa discovers Mynn's pictures, she sees her chance to get closer to her mother again. Mynn gains self-confidence through Louisa. They become best friends because they are both secretly lonely. When Louisa once again cannot accept Mynn's limits, Mynn hits Louisa. A toxic friendship begins between the two.
