Essay on Distance is a multidisciplinary art project by musician Franziska Brücker that explores the relationship between body and sound. By using distance sensors, she transforms a space into an interactive musical instrument, with visitors movements triggering sounds and fragments of speech.

Parallel to the live performance, Franziska aims to develop a film document that not only captures the final product, but also captures the creative process and reflections on the view of the body during the work.
